Obligatory new owner post. I purchased the laptop as it was required for design school, and some chick at a party said I'd definitely want the bigger model. I must say, it's definitely a neat piece of technology. I also got the iPod touch 8 gb free with rebate, and jailbroke it before even using it. I <3 new gadgets. It's been forever since I used a Mac, but hopefully it won't take too long to get used to again. I think the last time I used one was on the very first iteration of the iMac in elementary school... heh. Also, my crotch is being thoroughly sterilized at the moment... does anyone have any tricks for making the MBP more comfortable on your lap?

Congrats on the MBP, welcome to the forum and to the world of Mac, and may both it and you "live long and prosper together"; enjoy it; yes, agreed, it's very impressive. I have a MBP too, it's a 15" and I'm very happy with it.
