this thing is awesome. sorry for this worthless post. thanks for those who helped this noob decide on this computer.
 
all the new ibook G4 models support closed lid operation don't they? its an awesome feature because then its like having a notebook and desktop all in one. just add monitor, keyboard and mouse :)
