Question. Is there anyway to get Apple to add something to there support list of FAQs?

Let me backtrack here and explain. I’ve had 2 people over with their iBooks at my house and until yesterday evening I couldn’t get them on my home wireless network. I’m running a Linksys router with 128-bit WEP on and MAC filtering enabled. (No pun intended) :p

We've tried numerous times to setup a profile entry for my home network on OSX. When it prompted for a password we selected 128-bit hex and entered the WEP string and every time it came back with incorrect password. Turning off WEP allowed the laptop to connect to the network just fine so I knew it wasn’t anything as basic as connecting to the router. It was something with WEP. We contacted Apple. No help at all. We contacted Linksys. They don’t support Macs. (FYI – I’m currently composing a letter notifying them that they have lost a customer for life over this.) It took me a while comparing the setting on my Latitude to what was available on OSX. I realized that in OSX you couldn’t specify which key # to use. I use key 4 for all my guests on my network. I speculated that OSX defaults to key 1 instead and tried that. Sure enough it worked.

So what I’m wondering is: Is there any way of getting this information to Apple in a way that will make sure that it will be available to other users in the future. Granted this is a case of being extremely anal about security and settings but there is always the chance of someone in a large business network using a key other then 1 runing into the same problem. It would be nice if this info was “out there” for them to find.
