Since my touch was meant to arrive from the apple store today but never did (stayed in geneva i think..) i haven't had a chance to check this out. My school network uses proxies to access the internet aswell as a username/password. I was just wondering if the touch supports proxies or not?

Yes it does. When you get it, check under Wi-Fi and the network you want to connect to and there will be an options button that has a proxy setting & authentication method.
