ps2 play mp3 cd's??

I was wondering if playstation 2 can play mp3 cd's. I know it's a bit off the mac topic, but if any one knows please let me know.

why don't you just try it? how much does a WHOLE cd cost anyway? they're less than AU$1 caseless so it's not exactly a waste of money trying it..learn from your mistakes..

My PS2 does a lot of things that are unusual, however, that is not one of them, at least as far as I know.
