PS3 glitch

I used the button on my headphones to start the iPod on my iPhone 4s and began hearing red dead redemption dialogue from my ps3. Any ideas?
 
I was using wired apple ear buds. When I went in the house the game disc wasn't even in the ps3. I thought I was loosing my sanity... Maybe I am.
