I'm wondering if this would be possible.

I have a 24" iMac which means a 1920*1200 resolution screen, which would be big enough to display HD 1080.

Now would it be possible to use it as a screen for the PS3 ?

I used to have a pc with a cheap tv tuner card which I used to connect my PS2 to (via a composite cable).

but this is of course a different league.

any ideas ?

Thanks,
Greg

Would this be possible using a breakout box of some sort, back in college some folks would play (laggy) games using some Mac breakout box. This was before the days of EyeTV. But then it's going to cost you.

I know the iMac doesn't have a video in, maybe I should have specified that I was not looking for such an easy solution :)

I actually meant if there is some sort of eyeTV that supports HDMI (or similar) input.

I can accept the fact that it would not be cheap, but it would be sure cheaper than a 1080 HD tv :)
