If i were to get a HDMI to Mini Displayport connector, is there a possibility that i could use the port on my macbook pro 13" to see the ps3 image? And I'm also guessing that i might need a program for this. Also, if this isnt possible is there a way for USB? I know those converters are about $100 but would it even be possible? Thanks for the responses. :apple:

USB does not have enough bandwidth. You'll get a huge amount of lag in video.

You can forget about using your laptop display for anything else than being a laptop display. There are no current solutions that will allow for a seamless gameplay experience, you'll get a ton of lag between your input and the time it shows on screen.

Get a cheap external display that has speakers and an HDMI input.
