PS3 or XBOX 360

Which one should i get for Christmas?
Im am unsure.
If it was an xbox it would be the pro model with 60GB HDD.
Blu ray means nothing to me so that would be useless on the PS3.
Which one has better graphics ive heard that the xbox renders faster and looks better is this true?
I wouldnt use the online features juch until i get a cable to connect it but i would probably play online occasionly.
I know the xbox has the price advantage and the ps3 is expensive.

Anyway what are your opinions on both and which one do you think i should get.

(Game selection doesnt really matter as both the catalogues are good)

Exactly what I thought but I now use my PS3 as a BD player more than a games machine...

I went for the PS3 purely because GTA wasn't available on the Xbox, but I think that might have changed now anyway.

It seems to me that you have already made your mind. Have you watched Bu-Ray movies? What kind of TV set do you have? If you really don't need Blu-Ray, then get the XBOX.
Graphics performance should be on par, mainly due to the fact that games are more difficult to develop on PS3...The PS3 hardware is more capable than the XBOX but the difference is very small...

Im leaning to the xbox at the moment because of halo but the ps3 has gran turismo 5.

I have a PS3 and I am very happy with it. The Graphics are amazing. Blu-Ray playback works very well and I also use my PS3 as a media center, connected to my Mac Pro...

from my experience, my brother had 6 360's rod on him. thats right, 6 of them

got a ps3 and smooth sailing so far

i have a lot of friends with xbox 360's and i would use online to play against them. Ive seen a few comparisons and the xbox seems to have better more responsice graphics. Either way COD 4is on both so thats not a problem.

Why are you continuing with this?? So far, everyone has suggested the PS3 and you keep saying you'd rather get the Xbox.
