IGN - 9.2

GameSpot - 6.0

I was wondering how a game could score so radically different on 2 sites then I saw this...

Unfortunately I ordered a copy based on the IGN review...

It's not like Gamespot has a reputation for reviews that are wildly out of line with general opinion, or anything.

You want a real laugh? GameSpot gave the XBox 360 version a 7.0 and the PS3 one a 6.0.

Also, the XBox 360 version has an average ranking of 86.7% (more than one site gave it a 9.0). The PS3 one had an average of 75%.

However, Gamerankings had a lot more 360 reviews on file to sample from.

Show me a gamestop.com ad in a bad game that they gave a very good review, then we can talk.

Well, GameSpot seems to have a tendency to give very popular games the worst score of all their peers. IIRC both Halo 3 and Zelda got much lower scores at GameSpot than anywhere else.

Gamespot is the worst at reviews they are very one sided.(I think they do it for hits) Go and look at some of those reviews(check out those wii/PS3 scores) they are very unbalanced.....its a shame too the site was rather entertaining.

Review sites suck at what they suppose to do best.

Bless

GameSpot scores are pretty weird, I only ever read the review and the Pros Cons box and ignore the score completely.
