Hello guys, if Sony announced PS4 slim next year, will you still prefer the current PS4 design/size or the new slim design ?

Also, I read rumors that suggest PS4 slim will likely feature improved hardware and stability. Will you upgrade to PS4 slim just for this reason ?

By the way, I just realized that the Slim model is like the S model of iPhone :D.

Not with consoles. The "Slim" model usually removes features. On retro consoles they'd have cheaper chips, on the Wii they removed the Gamecube chip, etc. Handheld systems usually improve though.

Doubt there's going to be a new PS4 for a while. It looks good, it's selling good, there are no inherent design flaws.

We won't see a slim PS4 for a while yet, heck the current PS4 is slim compared to first-gen PS3 or XB1

Nope, but I scored the 20th anniversary on Sat!

quick google search suggests blueray will be dropped from ps4 slim late 20015, i'm voting ps4 with a late Dec/Jan purchase

20015, that's like the 201st Century!!!

;)

I don't think Sony will get rid of the physical optical drive - that was their whole argument against MS's DRM policy.

If there's a console that needs slimming it's the XBox One...
