write down serial and the IMEI #

Else if you unpair before you leave the house without first recording the serial and IMEI #,
you have to RE-pair at the Apple store so they can get both serial and IMEI off the Apple Watch app with it paired
Before the trade in can be processed.

Had a great experience at Apple Store Austin Domain this evening.
Jarrod expertly processed my trade-ins as fast as humanly possible

Here's my trade-in value for S6 and S5, both aluminum case + cellular.

That’s super generous. Not sure how much monthly fee he’s paying? ? for reference Apple is paying roughly the same for the S6 trade in.
Monthly "fee"? Well... I am paying Verizon $5 per month for cellular service on the watch. Not really a "fee". If you are going to buy a cellular Apple Watch, your carrier is going to charge you for service on it. Or are you referring to the monthly payment on the device itself... which are financed by the carrier at 0% interest.... so what is the difference if I pay for it now or later? I will admit, the Verizon does hit you with a $35 activation fee... but... I ALWAYS get those credited back to me with a quick chat with a rep online.... so... what was your point again?

Yes I totally don’t understand what you’re talking about.
and I don’t really care. I just meant that you’ve got a good deal for the trade in.

I get the purpose, but how does "writing down" the serial/IMEI really help? Apple is going to want to "see" this info, directly on the watch itself. I can't imagine they're going to take your word for it, even if you have a screenshot.

Updated base note to include a pic of my trade-in refunds to Apple Card.
