I have been saying this since launch days this is Intels first or second LTE Radio ever compared to the Qualcomm masters.
The evidence is pretty clear as shown in the link below. I for one will make darn sure my SKU will have a Qualcomm LTE not Intel junk

Intel makes great CPUs but they are upset Qualcomm is beating them at their own CPU game by far, so Intel has decided to enter Qualcomm arena of making LTE Radios. Since Qualcomm is making Mobile CPUs that are better than Desktop Core i5 CPUs. Qualcomm 835
