I had my 11" MacBook Air stolen a couple years ago and it never occurred to me to post my serial number to MR so that no one would unsuspectedly buy the stolen MBA from Ebay or wherever. It's already been reported stolen to Apple, locked, and in fact, appeared on FindMyiPhone but it couldn't be located. The serial number is C02DM2VADDR0.
