PSAT/ National Merit

Well, I'm a junior in high school and will be taking the PSAT for real this october. Is anyone else here taking it? And if you are, are you studying for it?

And does anyone know what score you have to get to become a national merit finalist? (I live in California)

According to the Wikipedia entry, the California cut-off for semifinalist status was 217 in 2004.

The scores do change all the time though. I'm currently waiting to find out if I got Semifinalist (219) from last year's test- should find out in the next week or two.

Scratch that, found out in school...well...its yesterday now

Now to fill out all the finalist paperwork
