PSP to MacBook Pro connection, Can anyone help?

Does anyone know how can I get my MacBook Pro to recognize my PSP when connected?

did you select usb connection option on the psp in the settings menu?

Is the port fast enough?
Have you selected the PC Connection under System Settings on the PSP?

If there's no way of getting it to connect, you can buy Memory Stick Pro Duo memory card readers. Connecting a PSP to a computer just makes the PSP a glorified card reader.
