I have PowerMac G5 1.8 Dual Processor (2004) model, but the PSU is broken (cannot power on, no led, checked +5Vdc).

And here, Thailand, it is hard to find parts for Apple vintage. I only found PSU from PowerMac G5 2005 model.

My question is that can I use PSU from PM G5 2005 with PM G5 2004 model?

Any other suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks

As long as it's not the power supply from the "Dual Core" Late 2005 G5's, you can use the ones from the Single 1.6 GHz to the Dual Processor 2.7 GHz.
The G5's with the AGP based graphics.

The "DC" G5's use the PCI-E graphics and the PSU is way different and won't work.

AGP PSU 450W to 600W
