Hi,

I am interested in purchasing this app from cydia but before I do, I am wondering if anyone can confirm that it is still functional so I don't waste my money..

Anything I've found online was way back from 2008/2009 where people were having issues with getting certain games to work so it's not very reassuring.

Don't bother. The developer is not putting much effort for this app and most of the games that had issues before still have issues. There is only a few games you can run fine and it's not worth it.

If you want PSX emulator your choice is an actual PSP or an android phone (FPSe works flawless). Creating your own emulator is another option but depends on whether you would want it.

I just want gta 2. I've read that "Payback" is nearly identical.

I downloaded itfor both my iPhone and iPad, if your running 4.3+ you'll get lines going through your games which ruin the game experience. However on my 4.1 iPhone 4 it runs quite well. But most of the games are laggy!
