Hi folks.

When I'm trying to download the new Public beta 3, the Mac App Store prompt me to update to Developer Preview 7 1.0 instead.

What should I do?

Thanks!

Update. According to a bunch of posts in the news thread about DP8 and PB3 the "Developer Preview 7“ offered in those circumstances turns out to be PB3.

Safari really needs an update. If I click links that opens in new tabs, the whole app crashes and I can't do anything. Creating tabs with cmd+t and/or the plus-button doesn't work. If I open a Google tab, the label on the tab says Google (for example), and if I go to another website in that tab, it still says "Google" on that tab, it's still really buggy.

Not for me or many others, Public Beta #3 is better. Must be some other reason. Do a PRAM to see if this helps.
