HoudahSpot 2.1 has entered public beta.
HoudahSpot 2.1 introduces the BlitzSearch feature: it lets you start of your search with the same convenience as the standard Spotlight menu. Yet down the road you will find all the power and customizability that exists only in HoudahSpot.
HoudahSpot unleashes the power of the Spotlight engine. With version 2.1, HoudahSpot may act as complete replacement for the default Spotlight UI. You may want to disable the default Spotlight menu.
HoudahSpot 2.1 also integrates with third party products like LaunchBar.

Known issues:
The BlitzSearch field does not automatically get focus. An additional click is needed.
