so in the new version i was very excited about using public transit routing in maps... only when i tested it at home on an easy route (my house... right by a transit stop, to city which is a transit stop.) the option up top is grayed out and unselectable.

any ideas what is going on?

also... this route is selectable in the real google maps... so its not that.

Yep, it is entirely based if your city's transit authority has provided the schedules to Google.

Good news is any updates on Google's end should instantly show up on your iPhone as well

too bad, dude. it's really an awesome feature. here in new york, it even tells you what time the next train leaves. i can't wait to see if it's accurate. if it is, i am going to be spending less time on platforms.

SEPTA (our transit system) is a piece of crap anyways.

it will be good when i visit places at least.
