I am having connection problems with FREE public connections. In school I can get a full signal but I can't connect to the network but the only way I can connect is if I restart my laptop every time and this is the same for other public networks! The crazy thing is when I do a diagnostics on the school wifi network connection it asks for a WEP password when there are clearly no locks on this public connection! It is also the same if i would go to a different account on my laptop! The wifi connection works perfectly and connects perfectly with my wireless connection at home which is WPA protected! I tried searching for a solution for this problem of mine but no hits, please help! Please don't tell me that I have to reconfigure my laptop because I seriuosly have a lot of files I would have to transfer but no other source to store it in if I would do a full restart!
