Ok so I starting building a company website in html format on our godaddy account. It was a basic website with basically all photoshop art and then some html codes that had next buttons below it to go to the next page.

So I wanted to make our website look a lot better so I actually just learned about iWeb. Everything looks great a simple, however I am having trouble publishing the website. I think i am entering everything in correctly but it says i'm not. I'm trying to publish my site via FTP. What am i doing wrong?

I click on FTP
For site name i put in our website url
Contact email is optional, ive done with and without.
server address: its ftp."My website url".com (Is this correct or is this something else on godaddy?)
User name: I put in the same user name on our godaddy account
Password: I put in the same password on our godaddy account.

I do a test connection and it says its wrong. What did I do wrong? My user name password is the same on on godaddy and i can log in fine there. Any help?

I did all those steps but it says my password is incorrect. But i don't understand because I use the same user name and password I do to log onto godaddy but when I publishing it on iweb it says otherwise.

If that's not working you should probably contact GoDaddy as there could be a potential issue on their side. They can also look at login attempts and potentially see what's wrong.

I am having this EXACT same problem. Can anyone help? I've been at this for days now. I called GoDaddy and they said that everything is connected properly on their behalf so it must be an iWeb issue.

Not sure if it matters, but I'm on iPowerWeb (not a GoDaddy, fan...too many problems in the past like you describe). Here's what my "publish" screen looks like:
