Publishing Product Information Error - VISTA

I have a friend who is trying to install iTunes on their Vista box.

They've had it installed before, but deleted it.

Nothing shows up in Add/Remove programs, and when they try to install it, the installer gets stuck at "Publishing Product Information".

Some quick googling shows fixes for XP and 7, but I haven't found any Vista fixes, however I'm still looking.

Anyone have a fix?
