Hey all, since I accidentally killed my mbp in my sig, I decided to pull the trigger on a new mbp.
Sooooo, here are the specs: base model 15 inch with anti-glare. And since it cost less than I thought it would,
I added an 8 gig nano... In black. Just thought I would share... Apple says the latest it'll be in my grubby mitts
Is april the 26th... Does that sound about right for the uk store?

Very nice!

Great choice my friend!
Ignore the rumors and don't wait for the new MBP. Arrandale sucks anyways.
/s

not sure if you're being serious or not, but arrandale is faster and better than the currently overpriced, and outdated c2d mbp's.

Congrats. If it were me, I'd have waited until tuesday, but hey - enjoy your MBP!

won't they send the new system though if they announce it next tuesday?

You could see if a new MBP comes out next Tuesday (April 13th) and if so, just cancel your current order and order a new one. Good luck with your new MBP!

Have you considered getting a used machine until the refresh shows what's in the cards with the new MBP's?

I get a killer deal through my school, and I needed it yesterday.. That kinda thing... And I know that ill be kicking myself if they refresh next week, but I find the refreshes and new products take about a month to reach europe.

Snowball, not sure if you were being sarcastic, however I posted this thread to ask a question;would you like me to repeat it or are you going to make use of the reading comprehension they taught you in school to find it yourself?

Yes, my tongue was firmly in cheek.

Given that no-one has answered the question you are so angrily keen to have, maybe you would have liked to have made use of your supposedly esteemed writing comprehension they taught you in school to have focussed your original post/title toward the actual question in the first place, such as this guy here, rather than banging on about what you just bought and then asking the Q merely as an afterthought? (which could otherwise have been posted in the The "I just ordered / bought / got my new MBP" thread, merged sticky at the top of the forum with 3000 posts, where everyone else posts)

Or maybe you feel you're somewhat more important than that?

I fear the transition to 'Apple Mac owner' mentality is nearly complete.
