Hey guys,

I've read a few threads on 3G in Italy, but they're fairly outdated or not answering my question. I'm gonna be for a week in Longarone, Italy, but I'll be flying to Venice. Things I'd like to know:

1) Is there a retail store at the airport, where I could be a pre-paid microSIM with a data plan? I couldn't find any Tre, Wind or Vodafone stores there via their website.

2) Are there any carrier stores in Longarone?

3) How long does it take from walking in to walking out the store?

Google Translate browsing didn't help much, maybe I'm checking the wrong sites.

Thanks for any relevant info!

prepaid micro sim for ipad in Venice

Halogen, did you find somewhere in Venice to buy a prepaid micro sim for ipad? I would like to know also. I only know you can in Roma Termini. I would also like to know if you can at FCO Roma.

Go to a TIM store at a train station or maybe the airport. The staff normally speak english and could help you with your issue. I got a prepaid TIM card 2 years ago and I use it everytime I travel around Europe.. I pay 1 eur each day and get a total of 30 megs.
