Purchase Help, confused on specs

Hello,

I can only afford the 21.5-inch: 3.06GHz with Nvidia 4670 256m
How does the processor compare to a pc laptop i7 1.6 Ghz and Nvidia 330m 1G video?

I do some gaming, programming, video stream (Netflix), some video encoding once in a while, and finance stuff.

IMO the i7 wins out, especially for future proofing the computer once more applications utilize all cores.
