Purchase Photoshop/Premier Elements from App Store or retail?

I have a gift card to Office Depot for $65. I was looking around and saw Adobe Photoshop/Premier Elements for $105. This is also available on the App Store.

What's the best place to buy this from?

Also, I really don't need it, but not sure what to spend this gift card on.

Elements organiser is not present in the App store version:

Also, the retail versions have cross-platform licences (at least the boxed dvd versions do) allowing you to install on a Mac and a PC (but not run simultaneously) without having to buy two copies of the software, which won't be the case for the app store versions because they don't come with serial numbers.
