Okay this is a question on behalf of my friend. I am not an iphone user or ATT customer (F-Verizon.), so I'm trying to figure out if there's a way she can swap her 16GB 3G-S that she ordered online for a 32GB model (and pay the price difference of course).

Her initial belief was the 16GB was enough space for all her music, but after some reconsideration she realized she wants the extra space. She already ordered the 16GB a week ago, but it still hasn't shipped. Is there any way she can exchange it? or do it at an apple store later if it is unopened?

New to this so sorry if there's an obvious answer. Thanks in advance for any help.

She may just have to receive it and send it back and buy again.
 
hmm the apple store here doesn't seem to know. They are always SO helpful.
 
I did the same thing, I just call Apple back and canceled my order then re-ordered the new one. I think as long as the order has not been shipped they can do this.
