Purchased iPhone ringtones will not play

I purchased 2 ringtones from the iTunes store for my iPhone 3G......all of the proper procedures were followed and they were added to my Ringtones folder and when synced to the iPhone, they appear under ringtones. However, when I select them, neither will ring. Instead the "chirp" ringtone is played.

Is there something else that needs to be done to ensure that they will play. I am just wasting money.

sorry, i honestly have no idea. but for the future, I would suggest to you www.audiko.net

just search for the ringtone you want, click on it, and hit download for iphone. once it downloads, drag it from your downloads folder straight into your itunes library. then sync your phone.
