purchased movie from ipad2 to itunes?

I just reinstalled my whole OSX on my macbook as it was running mad slow. I thought I'd backed up all my purchased movies/music/tv shows from my iTunes account onto my external HD, but looking through now I have a movie on my iPad that I hadn't saved elsewhere as I hadn't synced it all up in a lil while.
Is there anyway I can get that movie onto my iTunes on my macbook? I'm scared to sync the iPad now as I will lose it for good.

Transfer purchases from iPad, or call Apple and they can allow you to re-download it after (on your macbook) after confirming the purchase on your account.
