hey,

okay so i'm pretty fussy about my library. today i did one of my spring cleans by completely removing my library and starting from scratch (keep the junk out).

anyway, when i opened itunes, i realised that 'purchased music' has just changed to 'purchased'. call me fussy, but it's doing my head in. it makes no sense. arghh!

does anyone know where this info is stored? i can't change the name manually, spotlight returns nothing. i have no idea why they had to change it.

i'd appreciate any help ;)

Take 2 blunts and stop worrying so much?

Wake me up after the 12th...

heh - i'm not worried as such and i can indeed live with it. BUT, it's just annoying.

i'll let them off the hook if they give us an iVideo store on monday though ;)

You should be able to manually change the name of the purchased music playlist.

Well, I can at least...

okay, after a restart it lets me change the name now. now i feel stupid. stupid enough to wear the 'stupid cap' for the day

Yup...just part of their way to slowly move over...piece by piece!
And in 5.0.2 you will have Purchased branching off into seperate Music and Video playlists perhaps? Strange how they haven't changed the name from Music Store to Store yet though.

Quite possibly! But I doubt they will do anything like that as a small change! It will be too obvious as to what's to come! I think they will announce the video store first and release the new iTunes with this alteration at the same time, obviously.
