Purchased my first Apple today, a MPB

I just wanted to thank all of you regular posters in this community for offering up good advice and good opinions. I have been contemplating buying a mac for about 6 months now and most of my research/education stemmed from this board.

I've been a staunch PC user, never willing to fork over the cash for a mac (knowing I could get comparable performance at half the cost elsewhere), but I finally have the opportunity to explore the other side and see if there is anything behind the hype. I'm thoroughly excited and look forward to contributing to the community myself!

17" uMPB 2.66 refurb.

I waited patiently for two weeks once I read the buyer's guide here and learned that their was a strong chance of a minor update to the then current uMPB at this years WWDC. It paid off as the laptop I had my eye on was $2,399 two days ago and now it's below 2k!
