I had previously purchased quicktime pro for windows. They key wont register to upgrade to pro on my mac. is there any way i can go about this?

I bought QT Pro 7 for my Mac, and was disappointed it didn't work for Windows.
But, TBH... I hardly use the Pro extras on Windows, so it's not too bad for me.

Sorry to resurrect this but I bought quicktime pro for my old mac and now want to use it on my new one.

I have removed the key from the old system in system preferences but now it wont work in my new one - anyone know the secret or am I not allowed? :(

Or simply wait for Snow Leopard, since reports show that it's making all the pro QT bundled as free.

Got it- just didnt realise it was so picky about the registered name- it needed the Mr. bit and everythink.

Sorry for being tetchy, I had a bad day blah de blah
