How can this happen?

I am not able to locate a song. When I go into Itunes, the summary shows "not available" instead of the location. I also search the PC and can not find the song.
It plays fine, but I'd like to know where it is.

All my other songs which are old vintage MP3's are located in a folder where I store songs that I sync.

Any ideas on how this can happen?

Thanks

When you right click a file in iTunes, you should have an option to choose Show in (Windows) Explorer and it should show you the originating file.

nothing comes up in explorer. just sits there. other songs all open windows explorer. I have 4000 songs on here and this one that I purchased is lost.

if you select delete it might come up with the option 'move to recycle bin' and you could copy it out of there. but if that doesnt come up (or if it does but doesnt work) you may very well loose that song forever so do it at your own risk
