Purchased Whitebook instead of Alu - Satisfied!

Hi folks,

for a long time I thought about which macbook(pro) to get. The options were a 2.4Ghz Whitebook, 2.0Ghz Alu Macbook or a last gen Macbook Pro. I finally decided to get the Whitebook and I got it about a week ago. It is a great machine and works flawlessly. I got it brand new (no refurb) in a store where they still had a couple left. It seems like a good decision as there are so many posts complaining about little things concerning the new Alubook. And I also saved a little money this way.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I am happy with my new Whitebook

Nice, the whitebooks are still amazing machines (compared to other laptops on the market!) .

I bought mine a last month because the AluBooks seemed too expensive. With the money saved i'll probably buy a few extras (keyboard, mouse, external hd) sometime soon.

I went with a refurb blackbook and I'm very happy with mine too. Saved about £250 by not getting the Al book.

Same for me!

I bought my Whitebook last march. Though all those "new design" rumors floated around, I needed a notebook back then. And now I am still as satisfied! It does the job I bought it for very well (screw the new graphics..I am not gaming anyway). and I sometimes use the firewire port..so.

And I just love its white color!! Like the old original iPods.
