Edit: On High Sierra
Macbook Air Early 2015
The only guides I've found for partitioning my hard drive for Windows have been with a downloadable ISO (edit: the iso bought straight from an online source).
I unfortunately bought Windows 10 from a local store which came with a copy of Windows 10 on a USB. I've never partitioned my hard drive yet, and I'm not really sure what steps I'd need to take. If anyone knows of a guide out there that shows when I'd insert the USB, or if it's even possible to do this way, the help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
SOLVED: Windows 10 is available from Microsoft as an ISO file and a USB flash drive. You need an ISO file of the 64-bit version of the Windows 10 installer to install Windows on your Mac. If you purchased the USB flash drive version you can download an ISO from Microsoft and use the Windows installation key that came with your flash drive. If you're installing Windows for the first time, make sure the Windows installer you're using is for a full installation (not an upgrade installer).
