I have a 3GS and purchased my iPhone 4 at no-commitment pricing.

I'm about to activate it now, but it wants me to accept the AT&T Service Agreement.

If I accept it, can anyone confirm that it WILL NOT begin a new 2 year contract? Just wanting to make sure that there are no problems.

Thanks

I believe the agreement only states that you won't use it on another carrier but does not start any service plan of any sort. At least, that's how it worked when I bought my 3GS, except I had to sign it in-store rather than at home.

If they don't give you an opportunity to choose a voice and data plan, then there should be no problem. (Otherwise how would they know how much to charge you?)
