purchasing a new macbook pro

I'm purchasing a MacBook Pro for my son. I want to add Microsoft Office. I click on the button to add to purchase. Go to checkout and it's been removed for the cart with this message "Some products in your cart require another product to be purchased. The required product was not found so the other products were removed." Why??? Also, I live outside the US and the 800# doesn't work here and there's no button to Live Chat even though the site says there's one (so frustrating). I'd purchase the software separately but was hoping to get it already installed. Any answers on how why it can't be added? and where the chat button disappears to.
