iPod touch purchasing a new one - any suggestions?

I got enough Christmas money to buy a new iPod touch (woohoo!). I've been surfing the net to do my homework prior to spending lots-o-money. I'm thinking I need to go 2nd generation for sure ...? What else should I know to look/ask for prior to making the big buy?

Just buy the 2G 8GB iTouch..it's worth it...trust me.

Unfortunately there is not much "shopping" that you can do. Go for the 2nd generation yes, no reason to buy an older model.

You just have to choose
8GB
16GB or
32GB

How much content you have on iTunes will determine which one you get.
