Hi Everyone,

Not sure if this is an appropriate thread. I apologize if it isn't, but I don't know where to go for help.

I'm interested in buying a commercial HD Video camcorder. I'd love to have one of that uses no tape, but has an HDD instead. However, I'm open to tape if it will work and is significantly cheaper.

It must be HD and I'd like to stay around $800.

Any buying suggestions? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

there's a lot of rude people in these forums, why would you take your time responding and not give an answer.

Anyways I think that by browsing the apple store website under the section of cameras you get a good glimpse at all the cameras fully compatible with mbp you can also go to www.download.com and click on reviews, then camcorders to get ratings. I use the Canon H10 and it is amazing.

Thanks Jphillippe,

I appreciate the help. The H10 looks really good!
