So just a few days ago, my sister's Galaxy S4 broke and she has always wanted an iPhone so we decided to get her an iPhone 5. We have never really used Ebay and never purchased an iPhone online or offline. This will be the family's first iPhone. So I looked over at Ebay because we didn't want to buy a new one and I heard refurbished phones are just as good as new ones and they come at a fairly good price. This is the phone we bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/191398227282?roken=cUgayN&soutkn=jqgwy3

I'm not very experienced or knowledgable about how Ebay works but Ebay says the phone sold over 13,000 units and mobilepros1 seems to have a pretty good reputation so I just went with that.

I just want to know if anyone has purchased a refurbished/used iPhone just like this from a (fairly) reputable seller like mobilepros1 (or if you have bought a phone from mobilepros1), what was your experience? Should I worry at all or am I fine? I might be worrying too much, but I just wanted to know what to expect.

I think you should be fine with that seller. It looks like they're pretty reputable. Plus, if the phone does not arrive in the condition that it's advertised, you can file a complaint with eBay and/or PayPal.

You're fine buying iPhones on eBay from almost any seller. eBay/Paypal rules are very heavily in favor of the buyers to the point where if there's even a scratch on the phone that the seller didn't mention you could get your money back.
