I have had so much trouble buying my Macbook Pro, as if its a sign to go and buy a cheapo PC laptop. But I decided to persevere as I need a good computer to be a Graphic Design student. First off we tried to order on the phone yesterday. We wanted to do the financing but then we were told that we would have to buy .Mac membership separately. So we agreed but then my dad said it would be alright to use his credit card.

So we called up again and asked the payment to be changed to credit card and for .Mac to be added to the order again. When we got the confirmation e-mail, there was no .Mac and the man had put on a case for the Macbook. Isn't it obvious that if I'm buying a Macbook Pro that I would want a case that it would actually fit into?!

And now to today. I gave up on the idiots working on the Apple phone store and decided to purchase from the website as I was told on my birthday that I couldn't get the 14% student discount in the actual London store because my college wasn't on the list. So I ordered it, checked that all 5 things were in the basket and then when I pressed purchase, the invoice did not include the .Mac membership again!

This was the special offer .Mac that you get when you buy a computer. I don't know what to do now. The guy we spoke to instore convinced me that I needed .Mac and it does seem really useful. If I show someone the invoice or even phone up the idiot I originally ordered from is there a change that I can still take up the special offer? I'm not even looking for it for free, like I've heard of people on here getting iLife and iWork for free on the phone. I just want to pay £40 rather than the full price one.

Sorry for the massive rant! Thanks if you managed to read all this and respond. To top it off I'm moving all the way across the country on the 15th and now my laptop probably won't arrive until the 21st so my mum will have to drive it up there for me!
