I have an 11in Base Model Macbook Air from 2010, and am looking into a desktop. I already have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Im just looking for a good desktop that I can use as my main computer and just use my macbook air when I leave the house. My needs are; a big hard drive to store my large files, and a somewhat fast computer that I can use to edit my 5 minutes+ videos for youtube. What configuration would be right for me. By the way, my spending limit is $800-$900

What's your definition of "big" in a hard drive? And does it have to be built in, or can it be external? You can get a lot more for your money with an external (or adding your own second internal drive) versus buying it from Apple.

My definition of big for now is like 500GB, as my current MBA only has 2GB ram and a 64GB SSD. I mainly want it for editing on imovie

A Mac Mini is $599 with a 500 GB hard drive. DRAM is only 2 GB, but it's easily upgraded. No tools are required.

And you can get the 4gb with the better video card in the refurb store at apple for $699 right now.
