Hi,

I am looking at Bestek inverters and one is modified sine wave and the other is Pure Sine wave. Will this make a difference charging from my car battery. I use regular 200w inverter now in the car and I am not sure if it is the reason I have to reset PRAM/SMC after using it in car as the laptop seems to "slow" down.

Modified sine wave converter $29.99

Pure sine wave $48

Does pure vs modified make a difference if charging via apple AC adapter?

Thanks

Always use pure sinewave. Modified sine wave has the potential of damaging electronics. Although the risk may be low. $20 extra is a small price to pay to protect your equipment.
