Purple Halo on iPhone 5 Camera

I know: Scuffgate, mapsgate, Wifigate etc etc.

Anyway, I was reading this Cult of Mac article and was wondering if anyone has the same problem: http://www.cultofmac.com/192996/major-iphone-5-camera-issue-is-causing-purple-halo-effect-on-photos/

Sure enough, I boot up my camera and take a photo next to a light, and I get a purple effect. Not sure if this'll impact any photos I take, but I guess it might.

So, do you have PURPLEHALOGATE??

I took 8 pictures. Only this one gave me any purple. I'm not going to sweat it unless it turns up in a more conspicuous way.
