Push Address Book field to iCal in OS 10.4?

I've collected birthday information for a ton of friends and colleagues in Address Book and I'd like to find an easy way to push that data to iCal so I can see when they're coming. Is there an automated way to do this? An applescript? Something using Quicksilver? Another way?
