I have an iPhone 3G and I noticed that whenever I enable Push (Google Sync) and turn on 3G, my battery juice drained up pretty fast. May I know if I can enable Push while putting my iPhone on Edge network? Will Push work and is there any implication? I heard that calls may not come in (or will go to voicemail) when I use this mode, is it true?

Push will work the same way on Edge as it does 3G. As far as missing calls because of it, yes. If a call comes in at the exact second an email is being pushed to your phone, your data connection will be in use and the call will go directly to VM. As I'm sure you can imagine, the chance of that happening is pretty small.

Thanks !
