Instead of getting notifications for every email that I receive, is there a way to customize it so that I only get an alert for emails from certain contacts? I am using yahoo mail if that matters.

I was just reading about that one and almost bought it until I read it doesn't work with yahoo :(

Try what the developer suggests, forward your yahoo to gmail (or something) and then have push mail alert from that. Then use Yahoo in the mail app as you always do.

Pushmail is awesome. You can set different alerts for different senders etc. You can set "quiet times" etc. Contact support, he's very good about responding quickly. Ask him if you can use it with Yahoo.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to try that.
