Hi all,

I seem to remember that when the iPhone was first announced back in January in San Francisco that Steve said that all iPhone users would get free push email.
I cannot remember who this was with (Yahoo?).

I am wondering if this is still a valid offer and if so how do I go about getting my free push email account with whoever the provider is?

Thanks in advance,

Yes, it is Yahoo. Up until recently (maybe 1.1.2) it has not been very reliable. However, (knock on wood) it has been pretty good since 1.1.2 for me.

Cool, what do I have to do?

Is it just a case of going to Yahoo and setting up an account? How do I activate the push email bit?

I just wentbto yahoo to set up a normal email account, then used the settings wizard on the iPhone to set it up on that and, lo, the emails came pushed! (I only use it to relay urgent emails from my work email. Our system
is so locked down that I can't just plug my iPhone in. )
